Paula Martinez, 96, of Little Rock, passed away June 16, 2020. Born in Jalisco, Mexico, she was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres Hernandez Espinoza and Luciana Alvarez de Alba, her husband, Jose Martinez, and sons, Juan de Dios Martinez and Jose de Jesus Martinez. She is survived by her children, Maria de los Angeles Martinez, Paulo Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Hermelinda Martinez, Eustolia Martinez, Evangelina Martinez and Alicia Martinez; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, June 18 from 2-4 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Greg Luyet on Friday, June 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel. She will be laid to rest in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Covid-19 guidelines regarding social distancing and face coverings will be observed.
