Paula Sue Ballard, 50, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, Oct. 21. She is survived by her husband, Roger Ballard of Sherwood; her stepdaughter, Holly Ballard of Sherwood; her parents, Paul and Bonnie Tedder of Little Rock; three sisters, Patty Watkins (Brent) of Jonesboro, Beverly Homan (Robert) of North Little Rock, and Tami Quivers (Kevin) of Columbia, Maryland; two nieces, a nephew, a great-niece, two great-nephews and extended family.
Paula was born Oct. 11, 1957 and grew up in Little Rock. She graduated from Hall High School in 1976. Paula married Roger on June 7, 1991 at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, where she was a member. She was also a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She enjoyed gardening and loved her cat, Smokey. Paula worked as a secretary until her medical retirement, and she continued to help her father, an accountant, during tax season.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Arkansas Division, 1100 N. University, Ste. 255, Little Rock, AR 72207.
