Paul James Shirley, 82, of North Little Rock went to be with his Lord, Friday, April 25, 2008. He was a member of Northwest Assembly of God Church, a World War II veteran and worked for Pittsburg Plate Glass for 28 years and self-employed by P&E Glass.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 64 ? years, Edna Rogers Shirley on November 30, 2007; his parents, Sheridan and Willie Ann Shirley; three brothers, Madison Bryant, Calvin Shirley and Otis Shirley and one sister, Mary Alice Benge. Survivors include his children, Ronald Shirley (Chuckie), Connie Worden (Jim), Rick Shirley (Linda), Anthony Shirley (Sue) and Roger Shirley; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one brother, Thomas Shirley of Scotland, AR.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
