Paul (Mr.Boy) Shepherd, 80, of Arkadelphia, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. He was born on December 6, 1935 in Fendley, Arkansas to the late Thomas Shepherd and Veda Francis Shepherd. Paul graduated from Arkadelphia High School and Henderson State University with a double major in Business and Psychology.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Roland, A.O., Thomas O., and sisters, Ruby Dockery and Frances Shepherd.
Surviving family members include his wife Charlotte of 57 years; brother Velton (Mary); sons Stan (April), Scott (Samantha); and daughter Shannon (Mike); five grandchildren, Hunter Ware, Sami, Braden, Sophia, and Will Henry Shepherd and devoted sister in law, Peggy Shepherd.
Paul and his brother T.O. co-owned Shepherd Auto Sales until 1988. In 1988 Paul and his oldest son Stan opened Paul Shepherd Auto Sales where it is still a thriving business today.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 21st, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the Ruggles Wilcox Chapel.
