Paul Russell

Paul Gerald Russell, 82, passed away on January 20, 2023.

Paul was born on October 10, 1940, in Kennett, MO to the late Willie and Lillie Russell. He is preceded in death by his brother Bill Russell and great grandson Judah Lee. Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife Betty Russell; sons, Paul Russell, Randy (Patrice) Russell; stepdaughters, Pam (Calvin) Townsend, Shannon (Lamar) Currington; stepsons, Shawn (Karen) Hudspeth, Chris (Anna) Hudspeth; grandchildren, Brittany, Gerald, Reid, Roni Marie, Blake, Summer, Austin, Coy, Denny, Joey, Lindsey, Bryce, Jacob, Caleigh, Dustin, Kelly, Bridget, Evan, Connor, Mason, and many great grandchildren.

Paul proudly served 4 years in the United States Air Force and retired from Sears after countless years as a repair technician. A simple man with a warm heart, he spent his retirement years gardening and reading. He was surrounded by family in his home when he passed away to be with Jesus after a battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25 at Harvey’s Chapel Baptist Church in Mountain Pine, AR.
