Paul Romesburg age 94 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, September 23, 2014. He was born May 21, 1920 in Smithfield, PA the son of James and Elizabeth Wilson Romesburg. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity, the Arkie Stars Square Dance Club, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Blevins Romesburg.
Survivors include one son Paul Scott Romesburg and his wife Gunda of Bartlett, TN, two daughters, Jocelyn "Jo" Powell and husband Lyle of Spokane, WA, and Melanie Romesburg of Knoxville, TN, three grandchildren, Stephen Romesburg and Aubrey and Madison Powell and one sister, Virginia Robinson of Smithfield, PA.
Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday, November 9th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, AR and a graveside service with military honors at 11 AM Monday, November 10th in Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jim Pope officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Denny, Blayne and Stephen Romesburg, Tom and Pete Robinson, and Sharron Shaffer.
