Paul Hare Park

Paul Hare Park, Age 92 of Okolona, Arkansas, went to join his heavenly father on September 26, 2023 at Chi St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  He was born on November 1, 1930 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Everett W. & Clara Hare Park. 

 

He was a member of Smyrna Church near Okolona, Arkansas. 

 

Paul was a Korean War Veteran, and he worked for many years in heavy equipment in California as a crane operator.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his garden.  He loved keeping a neat yard and was still mowing his yard at the age of 92. 

 

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Scott and Lillie Joe Riedl; three brothers, Charles, Turner and Jack Park. 

 

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Charlene Park; his sons, Brian (Angela) Park of Benton, Illinois, Greg Park of Ontario, California; one daughter, Patti (Ron) Jones of Upland, California; a stepdaughter, Michelle (Perry) Tilley of Amity, Arkansas; a stepson, Victor (Beth) Price of Germantown, Tennessee; grandsons, Ryan (Natalie) Jones, Austin (Kaylee) Jones, Brett Park, Jared (Julie) Humphry, Jordan Humphry, Clinton Price, Hunter Price, Ian Price; granddaughters, Jessica Jones, Leslee Miller, Kristen (Rocky) Johnson, Alicia (David) Dumler; great grandchildren Henry Park, Ethan Humphry, Carley and Breelyn Steckenrider, Caitlyn, Isabella and Calleigh Johnson, Emily Humphry Goodman, Alexa Dumler, Gavin Washburn and Dillon Rivera; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

 

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home.

 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Weir Cemetery in Okolona, Arkansas. 

 

Pallbearers will be Perry Tilley, Clinton Price, Ian Price, Hunter Price, Jordan Humphry and Rocky Johnson.

 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Scott and Jerry Park.
