Paul Lampton
Paul Wyman Lampton, 86, of North Little Rock passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009. He was born on March 5, 1923 to Essie and John Wesley Lampton in Bradford, Arkansas. Paul was a War World II Veteran where he served as a gunner in the Navy at the Invasion of Normandy. He returned home from the war to marry Margaret Lucille Hiler on December 16, 1944. Following marriage he enrolled in "Eaton Barber College in 1945. Upon graduation he returned to his home in Russell, Arkansas where he owned his own Barber Shop. In 1951 he and his family moved to North Little Rock where he began a career as a switchman for the Missouri Pacific Railroad where he worked until his retirement in 1984. He was a Charter Deacon at Berean Missionary Baptist Church and a 33rd Degree Mason.
He is preceded in death by three brothers; Roy, Buice and Glenn and his grandson, Steven Morgan.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Lucille Lampton; son, Paul Wayne Lampton and his wife Nina of Butlerville, Arkansas; daughter, Sharon Morgan and her husband, John Morgan of Little Rock; two grandsons, Scott Morgan and his wife Scarlett of Little Rock and Michael Paul Lampton and Lindsey of Conway; step-granddaughter, Tracy Keeton and husband Robert of Higdon, children and grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, Chloe Anne Lampton of North Little Rock and Brook Lampton of Fayetteville and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 16, at 11:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
