Paul Jr. Kizer, age 80, of Dierks, died Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born on July 7, 1934 at Rosboro, the son of Roy Kizer and Zona Spears Kizer. On June 23, 1956, he was married to Edna Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Doyle Kizer; and his sister, Thelma Mitchell. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser and Free Will Baptist in his faith. He is survived by his wife, Edna Kizer of Dierks; three children and their spouses, Brenda and Kenny Fant of Newhope, Ronnie and Kathay Kizer of Hot Springs and Paula and Robbie Hemund of Glenwood; six grandchildren, Kindra Fatherree, Katrina Johnson, Roy Kizer, April Bray, Brandon Null and Warren Null; seventeen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Drye, Aline Parker and Pearlie Vandergrift, all of Amity, and Sharon Brewer of Glenwood; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Kenny Fant, Bro. Scott Vaughn and Bro. Lamar Austin officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Davis, Wayne Mitchell, Timmy Joe Pate, Steven Michael Harris, Roy Allen Garrett, Shane Carter, Billy Michael Jones and Nicholas Killian. Honorary pallbearers will be William Carter, Jack Jenkins, Steve Cunningham, Bill Powers, Windell Hogg and Charles Spears. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
