Paul Johnson, 67, of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008. Born December 26, 1940 in Monticello, Arkansas, he was the son of Samuel Paul and Callie Jones Johnson. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his wife, Martha C. Johnson; son, Colin Johnson (LeAnne) of Dresden, Tennessee; daughter, Susan Johnson Abele (Steve) of Reno, Nevada; mother, Callie Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister, Paula Johnson Pickens (Dick) also of Jonesboro; and two granddaughters, Anna Lee Johnson and Cora Johnson Abele. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Texas School of Law. He was a member of the Pulaski County and Arkansas Bar Associations and the Texas Bar Association.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Betsy Singleton and Rev. Betty Scull. Memorials may be made to the Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 1601 S. Louisiana, Little Rock, AR 72206.
