Paul Z. Henderson, 87, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ at 5:42 P.M., Wednesday, October 3, 2007. He was a member and deacon of Bethany Baptist Church. He was well respected in the community. He was a happy man, loved to sing and loved his family.
He is survived by two sons, Danny Henderson and wife, Cindy of Natchitoches, Louisiana and Carroll E. Henderson; two daughters, Kathy D. Martin and Cindy Spradlin and husband, Johnny; three granddaughters, Jennifer Meux and husband, Chris, Janet Spradlin and Mandie Martin, all of North Little Rock; brothers and sisters, Morris Eugene Henderson and wife, Daisy, Betty Thalman and husband, Chuck, all of North Little Rock, Thelma Gipson and husband, Ralph, of Hoxie, Arkansas, Billy Jean Gray and husband Bill, of Pocahontas, and Joe Henderson, of Walnut Ridge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Henderson; mother and father, James L. and Martha Ann Henderson; three brothers, Noble, James Hite and Jack Henderson and a sister, Hazel D. Matchett.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
