Paul DeBusk,

Paul H. DeBusk, Jr., son of Carolyn Nunn DeBusk and the late Paul H. DeBusk, Sr., died July 22, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kelly (the former Mary Kathryn Heigle); daughters, Paula DeBusk Slater, Molly DeBusk and son-in-law, Bart Slater; his mother, Carolyn N. DeBusk of Gulf Breeze, Florida; sisters, Ruth Eldridge (Bill) and Carol Ford (C.V.), also of Gulf Breeze and a wonderful group of nephews, nieces and their families.
Paul graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Civil Engineering. He retired as Head of Roadway Design with thirty-five years of service at the Arkansas State Highway Department. After retirement, he worked throughout the United States with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Paul was a member of Winfield and Mountain View United Methodist Churches before the churches merged. He served as Sunday School teacher, Chairman of the Administrative Board, as well as a layer of tile, repairer of leaky roofs and cooker of pancakes (Easter only).
There will be a private graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park on Friday, July 24, 2009. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Winfield United Methodist Church Choir, the Winfield UMC Roland Crisis Closet or to one's favorite charity.
