Col. Paul L. Broyles, 77, U.S. Army (Ret.), husband of Margie Frey Broyles of Bryant, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2007. He was a Deacon of Life Line Baptist Church and retired from the Arkansas Highway Department after 29 years of service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lindy Broyles and wife, Patty, of Mabelvale and Cindy Culpepper and husband, Kenneth, of Tyler, Texas; uncle, Lynn and Pat Edmonson of Jackson, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Bob and Rose Frey of Hot Springs Village; sister-in-law, Patsy and Pete Knight of Kittery, Maine; and seven grandchildren, Jeremy Broyles, Jeffrey Broyles, Aaron Perry, Brittany Katilius, Casey Culpepper, Daniel Culpepper and Stephen Culpepper.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19 at Lifeline Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Don Chancellor. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to the Bauxite Museum, 6707 Benton St., Bauxite, AR 72011.
