Paul Ashley

Paul “Skip” Ashley, 43, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away July 13, 2021.  Paul was born July 31, 1977 in Benton, Arkansas to Jimmy Ashley and Brenda (Harris) Ashley.

Paul was a hard worker and loving father. He loved helping others.  If Paul wasn’t at work, he was helping someone.  He always had a smile on his face wherever he went. Paul enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.  He was very strong minded and always said “if you are clumsy, you have to be tuff”.

Paul was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Paul Harris and Denver Ashley; and grandmother, Joyce Ashley.

Paul is survived by his wife, Dannia Ashley; children: Aaron William, Derek Ashley and wife Morgan, Karyss Wilson, Laikyn Ashley, Elizabeth Ashley, Melody Ashley, and Denver Ashley; granddaughter, Blakely Ashley; parents, Dan and Brenda Scoiglett and Jim and Gerri Ashley; sister, Janice and husband Lonnie Thornberry, and many other family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 15, at New Life Baptist Church, 10765 Samples Rd, Alexander, Arkansas. Memorial Service will be Friday, July 16 at 1:00 PM at New Life Baptist Church.
