Patty Haberer

Patty Haberer, age 72, of Glenwood, died Monday, October 3, 2011. She was born on August 1, 1939, at Bell, California, the daughter of Harley Louis DeLano and Mary Francis Barr DeLano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Haberer; and her parents. Patty was a very generous and loving person. She loved her home at Oak Park, playing bingo and spending time with her many friends. She enjoyed crocheting and making special things to give to everyone as a token of her love. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Buck of Longmont, Colorado; two brothers, Harley DeLano of Greenwood, California and Gary DeLano of Garden Grove, California; two sisters, Mary Lou Pratt of La Habra, California and Carol Ann Nutt of Glenwood; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 7, 2011, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Kevin Smead officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Richard Nutt, Larry Poarch, Lawrence Bishop, Michael Buck, Charles Buck and Mickey Buck. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
