Patty Burns, age 89, of Beebe, went home to be with The Lord Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Patty was born in Oklahoma, but grew up all across the country. She graduated from Brooklyn High School for Homemakers in Brooklyn, New York. At age 18, she moved to rural Lonoke County, Arkansas. It was there that she met and married Oscar Ray Burns, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family and she was a member of Beebe First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters; Annette Savage and husband, Fred of Maumelle, Patricia Burns of Cabot; two grandchildren, Leah Burns of Cabot and Dr. Jeffrey Savage and wife, Mindy of Bentonville; three great grandchildren, Abby, Emma, and Hayden Savage.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. December 14, 2016 at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
