Patsy Christy Wood, 70, of El Paso, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014. She was a retired school bus driver, nurse's aide and a homemaker. Patsy was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wood of El Paso; son Heath Wood of El Paso; daughter Kristy Rooney (Steve) of Guy; five grandchildren, Heather (Daniel) Pierce of Greenbrier, Joey Dobbs of Guy, Kayla Wood of El Paso, Kevin (Amanda) Rooney of Guy, Brandon Rooney of Guy; four great-grandchildren, Zane, Peyton, and Autumn Pierce, Braxton Wooten; four sisters, Avanell McGinty, Shirley Sims, Linda Bass and Pamela Dumeny.
Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Gerald B. (Buddy) Wood, Jr.; parents Earl and Annie Christy; and one sister, Revanell McGinty.
Family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, followed by funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Grissard Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
