Patsy Riba

Patsy Marie Riba, age 83 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away with her family at her side on March 7, 2020.  She was born on May 2, 1936 in England, Arkansas to Owen Vernon and Ruby (Charles) Anderson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ralph Adolph Riba.  Son Fred (Barbara)

Riba of Mabelvale, Arkansas and Daughter Cindy (Greg) Ostedgaard of Greenbrier, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her brother A. J. Anderson.  Her sisters are Jeanette (Bob) Fulmer of North Little Rock, AR, Sonda (Garland) Edwards of Hot Springs, AR and Doris (Murl) Ming of Mabelvale, AR.

She was lovingly known as “Nan” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nan was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother.  She showed us all what it means

to love each other unconditionally and to encourage each other through hard times and good.

Her faith in God was the stronghold of who she was.  She shared her light with those around

her through her joy, love and faithfulness. If we had to sum Nan up it would be that she loved

her family more than anything in life and she was the most selfless woman you would ever

meet.   She was a true example of Christ’s love to all those who were blessed to know her.

We will carry her spirit with us forever.

Grandchildren are Michael (Leigh) Middleton, Tiffany Brown, William (Rebekah) Riba, Spencer

(Alice) Riba and Jacob Riba.

Great Grandchildren are Ethan Riba, Ariel Mitchell, Audrey Middleton, Elaina Riba,

Kaleb Holliman, Adalynn Riba, Owen Riba, Benjamin Riba and Gracie Riba.

Family graveside service was held on Wednesday March 11 at Rest Hills Cemetery in Sherwood.

A joyous celebration of life followed at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God in Little Rock led by

Pastor David Walker.  At Nan’s request, after the service we all sat down to a big happy family

meal and talked about all our happy memories.
