Patsy White Martin, born on November 23, 1948, in Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 22 2024. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her vibrant spirit and passion for life touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Patsy was a devoted mother to her children, Teresa Marie Holland of Mabelvale, Arkansas, and James Charles Martin of Georgetown, Texas. She was also a loving-mother to her step-daughter Dawn Michelle Squires of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, who include Angela Holland, Jenny Holland, James Christian Martin, Jessica Lynn Martin, Alexis Grace Martin, Donavon James Haydon, Joshua Raymond Winters, Justin Andrew Arismendez, Dalton James Martin, Michael and Amber Loving, James Sundeen, Joshua and Amy Sundeen, and Harley Loving. Adding to her legacy are her adored great-grandchildren: Emily Holland, Keith Holland, Bentley Holland, Hanna Banes, Zander Banes, Blakely Brewer, Cambrie Arismendez, and Shannon Michelle Loving. Patsy's family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husbands, James Clyde Martin and Bobby J. Shipper; her parents, Aubrey Emmett White and Mary Frances (Stapper) Bruckner; and her sisters, Cathy White Hanson and Linda White. They will surely welcome her with open arms in eternal rest.
Known for her vibrant personality, Patsy had an eclectic array of interests and hobbies. She found joy in gardening, where she nurtured nature's beauty, and relished the challenge of working on crossword puzzles. Dancing brought her happiness, and she enjoyed the thrill of shopping, particularly when hunting for bargains and hidden treasures at garage sales. Her fondness for jewelry was as radiant as her spirit, and she cherished the company of gentlemen and the joy of meeting new people. Patsy was actively involved in her community, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
A visitation in honor of Patsy White Martin will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, located at 322 N Market Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate her life and share memories.
