Patsy Lee Hobby, born July 15, 1933 in Little Rock to Woodrow and Rosa Abbott , passed away February 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Manuel C. Hobby; three brothers, Danny Mullings, Billy Abbott and Ray Abbott; and two sisters, Rose Mary Moak and Fay Harris.

She is survived by a brother, James Abbott and a sister, Jeanette Williams, both of Vimy Ridge; her children, Edith Thurston (James) of Mabelvale, Leon Hobby of Alexander, Cynthia Watson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Gary Hobby (Leslie) and Manuel Lee Hobby, both of Mabelvale; special friend and caregiver, Randy Long; grandchildren, John Thurston (Joanna) of Little Rock, Joanna Strike (Chad) of Alexander, Jessica Paradise (Justin) of Maumelle, Stephanie Smith-Strong (Elle) of Salt Lake City, Kevin Hobby (Renae) of Pembroke, Kentucky, Mary Beth Carlock (Ashley) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Ronald Baker of Little Rock and Kyle Robinson of Bauxite; and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Isaiah, Cassia, Jaycie, Sebastian, Abby, Noah, Rowyn, Brady, Brock, Brynn and Braci.

Services will be Tuesday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Elwin Ollar and Pastor Douglas Hethcox, followed by interment at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
