Patsy Duncan

March 16, 1933 — August 13, 2021

Patsy Duncan

Our dear, sweet mother, Patsy Ann (Webb) Duncan left this earth for her heavenly home on August 13, 2021.

Pat was born to Rupert and Meredith Webb on March 16, 1933, in Centerville, Arkansas.  She lived there until her parents moved to Little Rock around 1950.  She graduated in 1952 from Little Rock Central High School.

Pat met her husband, John Duncan in 1953 at a dance held at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock.  They married on January 8, 1954 and were married 55 years until John’s death in 2009.

Pat spent her early married years supporting her husband and children as they relocated many times through his Air Force career.  She was a full-time homemaker until 1975 when she started a career in the Pulaski County Special School District.  Pat was the first cafeteria manager at North Pulaski High School and she loved being around all of the kids.  She retired in 1996 after 21 years of service.

Pat was always doing things to help her family and friends.  Countless wonderful meals were prepared by her when the family would get together.  She loved decorating her house for Christmas and had a large collection of Santa’s that were displayed on the fireplace mantel every year.

Pat was a selfless person who took care of her husband, mother and aunt.  She had a heart full of love for her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Pat’s love and kindness will be missed by all.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Rupert L. Webb and Meredith Cain Webb; her husband, John D. Duncan; and brother, R.L. Webb.

She is survived by one brother, Howard Webb; her children, Vicki Johnson, Terry DeLeon (Sak), and Brian Duncan; her grandchildren, Ryan DeLeon (Lora), Jeffery Chambers (Rhianna), Alisa Verch, Whitney McCray (John), Amy Gross (Justin), Chris Duncan (Cait), and Mac Duncan; great grandchildren, Layla, Anna, Michael, Caden, Cora, Logan, Madison, Ada, Parker, Oliver, and Jack.

In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association (1130 N Rodney Parham Road. Suite 205A, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212).

Pallbearers will be Ryan DeLeon, Jeffery Chambers, Chris Duncan, Mac Duncan, Justin Gross, and John McCray.
