Patsy Ann Davis, 77, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was born in Enola, Arkansas on April 25, 1937 to Tommy and Glee Bell Shipley. She spent most of her early year in Enola. Pat graduated from Draughon School of Business, was an active member of Sherwood Moose Lodge Chapter 1568 since 1996 and was a member of Women of the Moose. Both she and her husband, Lee Davis enjoyed years of community service and their many friends in the Sherwood area. She was employed by the City of North Little Rock starting in the Community Planning Commission in 1962, beginning her career as a secretary and worked her way up to Assistant Planning Director to Acting Planning Director until her retirement in the late 1990's.
Mrs. Davis was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing and loved taking care of her family and grandkids. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lee Davis and she was blessed with five daughters, Teena Mayeux, Karen Martindale, Sonja Tanner (Michael), Jo Lynn Cloper and Tammera Westwood; sixteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela M. Moody.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
