Patrick Lawrence Cox, 47, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011. He was born March 17, 1964 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Wayland and Virginia Nelson Cox. He was a call taker for the Yellow Cab Company and a Master Electrician that could fix anything. Patrick will continue giving with his gift of life through organ donation. He was ever giving, always willing to help or do for others and family.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah "Momma Kay" Cox, of Little Rock; son, Robert Logan Cox (Alicja), of Ft Campbell, Kentucky; daughters, Allycia Bailey Cox and Cathleen Catie Cox, of Warren, Michigan; step-children, Tonya Lovercheck, of Jacksonville, Ronald Charles, of Conway and Brandy Robinson, of Cabot; six grandchildren; mother, Virginia "Ginger" Cox, of North Little Rock; brother, Wayland "Butch" Cox Jr., of San Antonio, Texas; and sister, Teresa "Terry" Hulbert, of Las Vegas, Nevada; aunts, Rubye McClain, of North Little Rock and Mary Romine, of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayland B. Cox, Sr.; step daughter, Amber Dawn Bennett and uncle, John McClain.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
