Patrick J. Doolittle, 64, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 25, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Lorraine Barron Doolittle. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, a graduate of Catholic High, UCA, a life-long resident of North Little Rock and a retired CPA with the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit. Patrick was an avid turkey and duck hunter, a fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kersten Doolittle; two sons, Tim Doolittle (Heather) and Chris Doolittle (Heidi); four grandchildren, Alexander, Bailey, Noah and Addison; two sisters, Donna Madden and Joan Chambers (Dan); mother-in-law, Ethelene Kersten; two brothers-in-law, Robert Kersten (Wanda) and Randy Kersten (Becky); sister-in-law, Sheryall Paris; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael "Bub" Doolittle.
Memorials may be made to Little Rock Catholic High School Alumni Foundation, 6300 Father Tribou Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.
