Patricia Watson

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Watson, 76 of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born in St. Paul, Nebraska, May 23, 1935 to Bill and Elsie Watson. At the age of 5, she and her brother Robert were taken to St. Joseph Orphanage in North Little Rock, where she lived and worked until 1997, except for about 15 years in the 1950's and 1960's, when she worked with the Good Shepherd Sisters in Hot Springs. She was a dependable and able laundry and kitchen worker.

From 1997 until her death, she was lovingly cared for in several nursing homes in the Fort Smith area. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Tommy. She is survived by her loving caregivers and a host of friends, including the Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery, Fort Smith.

Visitation will be at St. Anne's Church, North Little Rock on Monday, May 7th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock under the direction of North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to St. Joseph Center of Arkansas (SJCA), 6800 Camp Robinson Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72118.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Walters, Tammy Fisher, Regina Walker, Leslie Spangler, Julius Greb, and Ray Buss.

Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
