She was a crafter and loved making all kinds of country crafts and jewelry; especially earrings. She loved giving the things she made to her daughters down through the years for birthdays and Christmas presents. Se had some of her craft patterns accepted into a major magazine of which she was very proud. She also loved riding motorcycles and when she was younger even had one of her own. Our mom also was a song writer along with our dad and together they wrote many songs that our dad would sing with his guitar. Mom didn’t sing, but she did learn to play the bass guitar. Our mom really loved family gatherings with all her kids and grandkids around hearing everybody sing together. A few other things she loved were fishing, reading (especially the Bible), gardening, and computers; she was a wiz at fixing computer problems.
Mom, we all miss you already, but we know that you are safe and well in the arms of Jesus and we will see you again someday. It’s not goodbye, but it’s… we’ll see you later.
