Patricia Ann Scott

Patricia Ann Traywick Scott, born January 7, 1958 in Lewisville, AR, died February 1, 2025 in Little Rock, AR. She passed away after a lengthy illness with glioblastoma. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband James David Scott (married July 21, 1979), her father Eueal Roger Traywick, and her brother James Roger Traywick.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Leigh Higgins (Kieran) of Paris, France, and Jessica Lynn Scott of North Little Rock, AR; two grandchildren, Thomas Leigh Higgins and Nora Elizabeth Higgins of Paris, France; and her mother, Patsy Traywick (née Hanson) of Stamps, AR. 

She worked for three years at Opryland USA and for 15 years as office manager for James Scott’s State Farm agency. A nurturer all her life, she worked for a few years at Mother’s Day Out “playing with babies” before leaving that job to take care of ailing grandparents, her aunt and uncle, and in-laws. 

Patricia’s hobbies included reading, cross-stitching, tap dancing, and camping in her younger years when her daughters were growing up. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Sherwood. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 17th at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will begin at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Feb 18th, at Liberty Cemetery in Stamps, AR.
