Patricia Schmidt

Patricia Ann Schmidt, 85, of Austin Arkansas (Oak Grove Community) went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 7th, 2020 at her home.

She was born February 28, 1935 to Alfred and Evelyn Skinner Howell.  Pat worked in bookkeeping as an assistant auditor at Bank of Cabot and a teller at First Security Bank.  She was a member of Oak Grove First Baptist Church where she served as pianist for many years.  Her hobbies included traveling, gardening and canning.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her son Allen Schmidt and brother Doyle Howell.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, LeRoy Schmidt; daughter Carol McCabe; granddaughter Lauren McCabe; two grandsons, Keith Schmidt and Christopher Schmidt; three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.   Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

State of AR COVID-19 directives:  Face coverings required at all times, 50 attendees or less.  Maintain social distancing.
