Patricia "Patty" Ann Patterson of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, April 21 at the age of 65 after a courageous, nine-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
She was born on September 29, 1947 in San Antonio, TX, where her father was stationed as an Air Force pilot. After living in Japan, California and Panama, her family settled in Sherwood where Patty graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1965.
An accomplished businesswoman, Patty began her career as the founding curator of the Jefferson County Historical Museum, and then later served as a Media Specialist at First South Savings and Loan. She found her calling as a Sales representative with TeleCheck/FirstData Corp., where she won several awards for sales and service including National Sales Representative of the Year.
She is survived by her loving husband, Howard "Pat" Patterson; her mother, Lucille Torres; her son Roger Tucker and daughter-in-law Missy, her son Dan Tucker and daughter-in-law Natalie; her sister, Kimberly Torres; her step-daughters Lynn Henley and Fiona Simmons and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy (myeloma.uams.edu/giving), or Shepherd's Hope of Oak Forest United Methodist Church (shepherdshopelr.org/donate).
