Patricia Munns

Patricia Anne Munns passed away peacefully in her home on September 19, 2016. Pat married Rev. Jim Munns in 1970. She was a devoted wife and the mother of Rev. Kimberly Johnson and Staff Sergeant James Daniel Munns. A graduate of North Little Rock High School, she graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1970. Pat taught in Little Rock schools for nearly 30 years. She served as organist, pianist, and accompanist for several churches for over 40 years, including First Christian Church of Little Rock and Pulaski Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jim Munns; her daughter, Rev. Kimberly Johnson and son-in-law, Mark Johnson and grandchildren, Olivia Grace Johnson, William Stewart Johnson, and Ava Leigh Johnson; and her son, Staff Sergeant James Daniel Munns and daughter-in-law, Chrissie Nicole Munns and grandchild, Danielle Aubrey Munns. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Howard Daniel and Dorothy Mae Stewart Daniel.

Pat was a gifted musician with a passion to serve The Lord with her time and talents. She loved to entertain her friends and church family in her home.

Visitation will be Friday, September 23, at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church from 6-8pm. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m., at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood, officiated by Rev. Brock Patterson and Dr. Randy Hyde. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes, 10 Remington Dr., Little Rock, AR 72204.
