Patricia Ann MacConnel

In loving memory of the late Patricia Ann MacConnel, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who departed this world on August 1, 2024. Patricia was born on May 3, 1936, in Sebewaing, MI to her loving parents, Edward and Helma Mill. She was a woman of remarkable talents and unwavering grace.

Throughout her career, Patricia dedicated 46 years as an accountant before retiring in the sun-kissed state of Florida. Her commitment to precision and excellence left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Beyond her professional success, she was known for her vibrant personality and artistic flair that brought color and joy to all aspects of her life.

Patricia's love for crafting and exploring new destinations through travel reflected her adventurous spirit and creative soul. She found solace and inspiration in the beauty of the world around her, always seeking to create something beautiful wherever she went.

She shared 65 years with her beloved husband, James MacConnel, a partnership built on love, respect, and unwavering support. Together they created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and cherished memories that will endure for generations to come.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried forward by her surviving family members. She is survived by her children, Denise Mann (Richard) and Scott MacConnel; grandchildren: Brandon Wolfe (Weatherly), Sarah Heinz (Cory Fontenot), and Ryan Heinz; as well as great-grandchildren, Addison Wolfe and Beauman Fontenot. In addition to her immediate family, she is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Schoonover (Jay); brother, Eugene Mill; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends whose lives she enriched with her kindness and compassion.

The family would like to give a special thank you to those who cared for Patricia at Lakewood Nursing and Rehab. As well as her care givers: Markaye, McKenzi, Nathan, Tiffany, and Zann from Gentiva Hospice.

In honoring the memory of Patricia Ann MacConnel, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life defined by love, passion, creativity, and an unwavering dedication to family. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
