Patricia M. Homard

Patricia M. Homard (Presley), 94, of Little Rock was called home by her Heavenly Father Friday evening February 25, 2022. She is the wife of Richard B. Homard.

She is survived by her husband; Richard; son, Michael Ison of Saint Louis, Missouri and daughter, Gale Ison of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Christopher Ison of Jacksonville and Ariel Michaelea Baltz (Chris) of Benton; and four great grandchildren, Ava Baltz, Brooklyn Baltz, Benjamin Baltz  and Presley Ison. She's also survived by many nieces, a nephew, great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of good friends.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, William Levi Presley and Birdie Paralee Presley (York); her brother, William Carl Presley; and two husbands, Bill 'Sonny ' Ison and Harold 'Ham' Hamilton.

Patricia was born on September 20, 1927 in Little Rock to William Levi and Birdie Paralee Presley. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1945. She worked at the Albert Pike Hotel and Southwestern Bell before finding her niche at Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation where she served as Treasurer of Inch Federal Credit Union, from which she retired in 1985.

She was a member and past president of Desk and Derrick.  She was also a member, past North Little Chairman and past State Chairman for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) an organization very close to her heart. In the 70's and 80's she was a part of a group of wonderful ladies who called themselves 'The Calamity Belles', they performed song and dance routines at local nursing homes and other places as well.

Patricia was a 60+ year member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, her husband Richard was also an active member and they were a part of the Bob Millet Sunday School Class, which they loved. She and Richard were both 'Class of 1945' graduates from LRHS, and we're active in all the reunions.

She had many varied hobbies and interests including doll collections, she was an avid fan and distant cousin of Elvis and collected anything 'Elvis', she loved shopping for antiques and vintage items, growing beautiful flowers and plants, and feeding and watching all the beautiful birds, her favorite was the Carolina Blue Birds. Patricia never met a stranger, she was comfortable wherever she was and always had a ready smile for everyone. She loved visiting with family and friends.  One of her greatest joys was making little gift baskets for people, but above all she loved her family, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a kind and generous person with a childlike faith and innocence. Our family deeply misses her, but our consolation is that we will see her again one day and until that day she lives in each of our hearts. We would like to thank everyone who has reached out with love and prayers, each one have been a blessing.
