Patricia Haney Hoeffken

Patricia Haney Hoeffken, 75, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away February 7, 2024. She was born August 14, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late LeRoy and Louise Haney.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Haney, and Melvin Haney, Jr. Left to cherish Pat’s memory are her loving husband of 55 years, Charles Hoeffken; children, Charles Hoeffken, III and Tiffany Moore (Ben); and the light of her life, her grandson, Liam Roy Moore; siblings, Stephen Haney (Tricia) and Melody Dycus (Gary); and a host of family and friends.

Pat was raised in North Little Rock and was a graduate of Buckeye Christian School (now Calvary Academy). In 1969, she graduated from the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pat was a 39-year federal employee with the USDA specializing in public relations as a Visual Information Specialist; she was honored with numerous awards, including the recipient of the 2002 Federal Employee of the Year receiving this award in Washington, D.C.

When it came to decorating and photography, she was a perfectionist; when it came to family and friends, she was a peacemaker.

Pat loved the Lord with all her heart. She was extremely compassionate and loved helping others; she had a servant’s heart, as she was kind and generously gave to her family, friends, and community. Pat was family centered, a wonderful mother, and she treasured her role as “Grammy.”

Pat genuinely cared for people, never met a stranger, and always saw the best in others. She spent time with many of her close friends in the Red Hat Society. She loved to travel and as an avid reader, she enthusiastically shared her books.
