Patricia Ann Freeman Parchman born at Milton Florida Feb 15,1946 is the daughter of Howard Francis Freeman and Dottie Emmons Freeman. She lived in Milton and went to school at Milton High School where she met Billy Parchman. On February 11, 1961 they were married in Brewton, Alabama.
They moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1963 where they started their family. There was added children David DeWayne, Anna Janette, and Matthew William. Patricia and her family moved to Beebe, Arkansas in 1979 where they lived for 35 years.
She worked as a book keeper for Parchman’s Construction Inc. and later enrolled in Pulaski Technical College Nursing Program where she earned an LPN Nursing license. She was then employed by Doctors Hospital as an LPN in Little Rock. She later went to work at the Beebe Retirement Center in Beebe, Arkansas. She worked for the center for 15 years.
She moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2014 to be near her daughter Janette and son Matthew.
After retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved family get to gathers, cook-outs and fun games.
She was a member of Hot Springs First Baptist Church where she walked with and trusted God who led her and her family in the valleys and over the hill tops through the decades. She praised God and Jesus Christ who watched over her and her family unconditionally.
She is preceded in death by her son David Dewayne Parchman of Beebe, father Howard Francis Freeman, her mother Dottie Freeman Holly and William Holly her stepfather, Brothers Bill Freeman (Darlene), Ralph Freeman (Elizabeth), Earl Freeman, Wayne Freeman all of Pensacola, Florida, and her Sister Helen Heidner (John) of Seattle, Washington.
She is survived by two Children, Anna Janette Erwin (Scott) and Matthew William Parchman (Jacqueline) and one brother Alvin Freeman of Prattville, Alabama, nine grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday November, 12, at 11:00am located at McRae First Baptist Church with the burial to follow, at Arkansas Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
