Patricia Bland Dierks of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Pat, as she was best known, was born on August 13, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, the first of two children to now deceased parents, William M. and Ruth Stiffler Bland. She was a member at Christ Lutheran Church in Little Rock.

Pat attended Cahokia High School in Cahokia, Illinois. She met her husband, Lawrence Dierks, two years after graduation, and they married April 24, 1965 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Cahokia. They have two daughters, Laura and Anne. In 1982, their family moved to Stuttgart, Arkansas where she worked at Buerkle Drugs for 17 years. After moving to Little Rock in 2001, she worked at Christ Lutheran School where she enjoyed volunteering after retirement.

Pat is survived by her husband, Lawrence Dierks of Little Rock; two daughters, Laura Welshans (Brad) of Little Rock and Anne Tucker (Jeff) of Houston, Texas; a sister, Bettye Ertl (Dan) of Cahokia; three brothers-in-law, Charles Dierks (Jackie) of Maulden, Missouri, Donald Dierks (MaryAnn) of Stuttgart, Tom Dierks (Gwen) of Cabot, Arkansas, and a sister-in-law, Dana Dierks Ellis (Scott) of Stuttgart; four grandchildren, Brett Thomas of Little Rock, Wesley Welshans of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Crockett and Brooks Tucker of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

Pat was a very loyal and dedicated friend and employee. She was dearly loved by all. She dedicated her life to do anything she could to make everyone she met feel loved.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Little Rock on February 21, 2015 at 2 p.m.

The family has requested memorials in Pat's honor be made to Christ Lutheran School, 315 South Hughes Street, Little Rock, AR, 72205-5199.
