It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Cunningham, a loving mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family.
Patrcia McWhorter was born on June 28th, 1944, in Johnson Chappel to Johnny and Judy McWhorter. She was a devoted mother to her five children, Tammy (Johnny) Rogers, Craig Jackson, Chris (Yvette) Jackson, David (Ashley) Cunningham, and Daniel (Sherry) Cunningham; and a cherished grandmother to Jackson Rogers, Johnathan Rogers, Chelsey (Jackson) Podcura, Courtney Jackson, Lauren Cunningham, Seth Jackson, Tristian Rogers, Katy Bray, Whitney Jackson, Kylie Jackson, Braxton Cunningham; and great grandchildren Jacob Rogers, Eli Rogers, Samual Rogers, Lilly Rogers, William Rogers, Ward Rogers, Judah Rogers, Camille Rogers, Ashton Roland, Stella Podcura, Alice Podcura, Elliot Bodiford, Jenna Grace Bray, and Landry Bray.
Pat is also survived by her loving sister Mary Barger, and her children, Tammy, Craig, Chris; the older children’s father J.C. Jackson, David, and Daniel.
She was preceded in death by Charles Cunningham; her parents, Johnny and Judy; her two brothers George and J.W. McWhorter; her sister Ola Mae Cotton; and her loving daughter-in-law Rhonda, Craigs wife.
Pat will be remembered for her love of hair and relationships with her customers all throughout the Des Arc area. Pat was also very passionate about her children and home, she enjoyed nothing more than adding on to the house. She loved her flowers almost as much as her pet poodle Pierre. There was never a stray or hungry animal that walked by her home without being cared for. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, our beloved mother.
A graveside memorial service will be held on March 28th, 2025, at 2pm at Lakeside
