Patricia L. Crews lost her yearlong battle with cancer while surrounded by family Tuesday, March 22nd 2016 at 9:39pm. Pat was 81 years old.

Pat Crews was born September 24, 1934 in Savannah, Georgia. She was the youngest of four, second daughter, of John and Pearl Beasley.

June 8th, 1952, Pat married her high school sweetheart and love of her life at the age of seventeen. Pat and Richard Crews had their daughter Christine in 1955. As an Air Force man, the job moved the family several times through out his career. The family ultimately settled and bought a house in North Little Rock, Arkansas. After Richard's military career, Pat started Artistic Florist while Richard started Memorial Monument Company. Pat and Richard were partners in life and in business.

Pat has been involved in The Salvation Army since childhood. As a longtime member of The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary she spent a lot of time caring for others and being involved in the community whether it was serving on a board, tea at the Governors Mansion or taking a meal to someone in need. Pat was always thinking of the needs of others, was cherished by her friends and dearly loved by her family.

Pat Crews was preceded in death by her husband Richard Crews and her brothers James and Buck Beasley.

Pat Crews is survived by her daughter Christine Miller, son in law Dennis Miller, her grandchildren Kim Atkins & Melanie Sweeney; her great grandchildren Audrey and Jack Atkins. Pat was also survived by her sister Virginia Banks and brother in law James Banks of Savannah, Georgia.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, followed by a graveside service at Little Rock National Cemetery, 2523 Confederate Boulevard. Online obituary at www.smithfamilycares.com .
