Pamela Lattin

Pamela Joyce Rodgers Lattin passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Arkansas Heart Hospital, after a battle with Covid. She was born on September 18, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to James Clifford Rodgers and Bonnie Lou Parham O’Leary, and loved by stepdad Bob O’Leary. She was preceded in death by all three parents.

Pam was an LPN, with a Servant’s Heart. She enjoyed caring for her patients, their families, and her co-workers. She retired from her nursing career after spending many years with the Arkansas Health Center in Benton, Arkansas. Pam loved to share her many artistic talents with her friends and family. Whether it was paint, thread, or flowers, she was able to create whatever she set her mind to. She was truly one of a kind. If you had her for your friend, you were truly blessed.

Pam loved her church, and church family. She and her husband were members of Salem Road Church of Christ. Her greatest joy in this life was her family. And she cherished every moment spent with them.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Buddy Lattin, her brother, Randy Rodgers (wife Pam), two daughters, Mandy Wilson (husband John) and Sarah Ottens (husband Scott), and stepson, Christian Eaton (wife Deana). She adored her grandchildren, Reygan Brothers, Maddy Brothers, Ashlin Wilson, Austin Brothers, Trey Wilson, Abby Wilson, Aubrey Ottens, Jackson Ottens, Taylor Eaton, Lexi Eaton, and Rachel Eaton.  And the latest joy in her life, her great grandson, KJ May.  She also had many other relatives and friends who will all miss her.

A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at a later date, which will be announced as plans are made. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of Arkansas Health Center. Checks should be made out to: Friends of AHC, Arkansas Health Center – Holly V. Vaughn / Building 7, 6701 Hwy 67, Benton, AR, 72015.  Funds will be used for a permanent memorial Day Lilly garden, which will honor Pam’s love of gardening, colorful flowers, and the residents she served so well there.

All arrangements are being handled by Smith-Benton Funeral Home.  Online guestbook:  www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
