Pam Chilcote, 48, of Little Rock, passed away at home on Friday, May 25, 2007, surrounded by her family and close friends. She was a member of First Christian Church for over 20 years where she served as a deacon and was a teacher at the Christian Kindergarten and Nursery School for the last ten years. She participated annually in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Pam enjoyed gardening, writing poetry, helping people, especially the very young and old, and her close relationship with God influenced every aspect of her life.
She leaves behind her loving family: her adoring husband of 25 years, Martin Chilcote and daughters, Sarah and Allison Chilcote, of Little Rock; mother, Donna Goes; five brothers, Steve (Diane), Rick, Pat (Jill), Tom (Tammy) and Jim (Shelly) Handrick; and eight nieces and nephews, all of Marshfield, Wisconsin. Also surviving are her in-laws, Lugean and Clara, Fred and Mary Lou (Mary Elizabeth and David), Bradley and Jeanine (Remy and Dylan) Chilcote, all of Little Rock; and many other relatives and close friends.
There will be visitation on Thursday, May 31, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 at First Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Farmer, with special music by Rev. Hart Moore. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
