Pam Branch

Former Pike county resident, Pamela Gayle Branch, passed away in Hot Springs, AR on Sept. 5, 2021 at the age of 63.  

Pam was a kind and gentle woman who grew up in Fernwood & McComb before moving to Malvern, AR with her companion of 26 years, the love of her life, Shelton Carter.  She is survived by her 3 sons, Rick Morgan of El Dorado, AR, Dale Chisholm (Katrina) of Malvern, and John Chisholm (Yvette) of Brookhaven, MS as well as her siblings, Tammy Greer, Jan Greer (Ricky), and Kevin McCullough (Tracey). 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Jane Morgan Hughes, her father, Atley McKenzie, and her brother-in-law Billy Greer.

Pam’s sons and Shelton remember her as a lover of music who enjoyed singing in the car.  They often spent time camping and fishing as the boys were growing up.  In later years, Shelton and Pam lived a quiet life caring for their many canine children and each other.
