Ozell McMahan

Ozell McMahan age 81 of Friendship passed away on June 1, 2009 in Little Rock. She was born in Caney, Arkansas the daughter of Lee and Mamie Morrison. Her husband, Paul N. McMahan preceded her in death in 2004 after sixty years of marriage. Also, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Benny, sister, Vada and grandson, Steve. They raised their family in Los Alamitos, CA and returned to Friendship after retiring to be near family members.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane (Shep Ahlm) of Los Alamitos, CA: one son Lewis (Candy) McMahan of North Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren, Kenny McMahan, Tina Marie Papo and Lloyd Moss; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kendall (Shelby) Morrison; Hulen (Betty) Morrison; and Gary Morrison all of Friendship, AR; many nieces, nephews and in-laws from both Morrison and McMahan families. Ozell will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, June 5, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial will be in Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gilchrist Cemetery.
