Oza Mae Trickey Jones

Oza Mae Trickey Jones, 93, of Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2023.

She was born January 29, 1930, to Joseph and Alma Harris, in Lonoke Arkansas. Oza was a devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene/The Forge.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Jocelyn Trickey; husband, Thomas Trickey; and siblings, Howard Harris, C.A. Harris, Mattie Lene Baldwin Knox, Odel Young, Floyd Harris, Elizabeth Norman, Ruth Ellen Hudson, and Geraldine Harris.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Jones; children, Janis “Jan” Clements (Randy), Thomas “Tom” Trickey (Margi), Scott Trickey (Sherry), and Mark Trickey (Dana); grandchildren, Julie Clark (Derek), Travis  Clements (Chelsey), Matthew Clements (Alison), Melissa Mahon, Melanie Nikdel, Courtney Lackey (Caine), Amanda Trickey, Marcus Trickey (Amanda), Connor Trickey, and Tina Trickey; great-grandchildren, Duncan, Charley, Cade, Hutch, Colt, Eleanor, Erik, Zach, Ellie, and Tripp; brother, Charles Harris; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205. Service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, August 18, 2023, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Butlerville Cemetery, 11249 AR-38, Ward.
