Ottie Mae Thomas

Ottie Mae Thomas passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 89.

A devoted and loving mother, Ottie found joy in nurturing her family and her garden, filling their lives with love and many cherished memories. She found great joy in caring for her flower beds and garden where she nurtured their beauty as she did in every aspect of her life. She was continually pulling up weeds and carrying rocks to start a new flower bed. She had the uncanny ability to talk to animals and train cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Audie Wells as well as her loving husband William "Loy" Thomas, her daughter Debra "Penney" Pilkington, and 7 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her brother Bert Wells, son Keith (Suzanne) Thomas, daughter Donna (Jim) Goodson, grandchildren Jason (Lauren) Goodson, Jerrod (Lesley) Goodson, Hannah Deprue, Brian (Heather) Thomas, and Alex (Katelyn) Thomas as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Edgewood Memorial Park, Tuesday, February 4th at 11:00am.
