Otis Dewayne Streets, 57, of San Francisco, California left this earthly life on June 30, 2019. He was born on June 13, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Otis and Mahalia Streets. Otis accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was a devoted member of the Saint Phillip Church in San Francisco, California. He often shared his love for Christ with his family, friends, and Facebook friends.
Otis graduated from Beebe High School in 1981. While attending high school, he played football, basketball, and participated in track. He and his teammates were a force to reckon with. Most of his memories included his teammates and close friends the late Phillip Young, Mark Fuller, Glen (Boo Boo) Lunnie, Curtis McGee, and Russ Lindsey. Otis loved playing video games and watching basketball and football. He kept track of the professional football and basketball stats, and he always claimed to be a big fan of the “winning” teams. Although he loved professional ball teams, no team ever took the place of his beloved Beebe Badgers. He was a true Badger!
Otis is survived by his wife, April Streets of San Francisco, California; two sons, Dewayne Streets of Marion, Arkansas, and Ottis Duane Streets of Sacramento, California; one daughter, Oneshia Streets of Sumter, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Joshua Morrison of Tampa, Florida, Jasmyne and Jayden Streets of Sacramento, California, Christian Streets, Layla Anderson, and Gabrielle Marshall of Sumter, South, Carolina ; six siblings, Earl Harris and Wanda Harris of Beebe, Arkansas, Mary Garrison of Little Rock, Arkansas, Virgie Streets of San Francisco, California, Earline Streets of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Phoenix Streets of San Francisco, California; one uncle, John Wayne Streets of Casa Grande, Arizona; four aunts, Patsy Jackson of Carlisle, Arkansas, Irma Tilford of Phoenix, Arizona, Inez Rutledge of Spokane, Washington, and Lorice Brooks of Yuma, Arizona; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
