Otis T. Stowe, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away September 1, 2010 at his home following a long illness.
He was born June 25, 1932 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the late Jack David Stowe and Elizabeth Belle Stowe. He was preceded in death by his brothers Homer and Franklin Stowe.
He was a retired barber and an Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Norma Pope Stowe; two daughters, Brenda Bazil of Cabot and Nancy Erbach and her husband Tom of Conway; and son, David Stowe and his wife Charlotte of Roland; one sister Edna Carlton of Grand Haven, Michigan; five grandchildren, Lisa Lago and her husband Chris of Cabot; Jason Bazil and his wife Karma of Ruskin, Florida; Thomas Erbach, Jessie Davidson and her husband Brian and Jacob Erbach and his wife Kristi, all of Conway; four great-grandchildren, Anthony Lago, Logan Bazil, Mary Erbach and Thor Davidson; three sister-in-laws, Ruth Stowe of Muskegon, Michigan, Donna Pope of Fruitport, Michigan and Margaret Hartley of North Little Rock: eight nephews and nieces and fifteen great-nephews and nieces.
Mr. Stowe's family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and aides of Cabot Hospice.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice of Cabot.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, AR., 72120.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville at 10:30 a.m., with graveside following at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock at Noon.
