In retirement he loved meeting his friends at the donut shop, helping his son on building projects, teasing his grandsons, gardening, and trying to predict the return of Christ. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Wright.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Shaddock Wright; a daughter, Kelly Anderson and husband, Todd of White Hall; a son, Curtis Wright of Delight; two grandsons, Caleb Anderson of Hot Springs and Ethan Anderson of White Hall; one sister, Mary Blain and husband, Marshall of North Little Rock; two brothers, Johnny Wright and Larry Wright and wife, Shelia all of Glenwood.
