Orlie Edward "Eddie" Fay, 73, of Alexander, passed Sunday, November 20, 2011. He loved his family, enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and a great passion for his music. He loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents Riley and Syble (Bray) Fay. He was born May 13, 1938 in Duvall's Bluff, Arkansas. He is survived by wife, Peggy Fay; three sisters: Lois Mae Wiley, Belinda Brown and Ruth Platt. He has four sons: Edward Lee "Bubba" Fay, Albert Tervo, Ronald Dean John and Wayne John. He has eight daughters: Becky Davis, Ann Bryant, Debbie Patrick, Linda Stumbaugh, Rita Reynolds, Patricia Moore, Deana Moore and Delilaha John. He has 32 grandchildren: Edward M., Rebecca, Valarie, Nick, Kellie, Chris, Bobby, Richard, Nathan, Kevin, Melissa, Jarad, Sara, Elizabeth, Alivia, Christine, Schon, Megan, Taylor, Samantha, Tanisha, Angelina, Amanda, Brandon, Nicholas, Ronnie Jean, Justin, Kayla, Vanna, Zanna, Jamie, Sierra. He had 48 great grandchildren and several members of his musical family. Special thanks to Deana and Larry Lambert. Visitation will be Friday 5-7 pm. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Peaceful Haven Funeral Home, 322 N. Market, Benton, AR, 501-778-7100.
