Orlando Timothy Ramirez, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 25, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on February 25, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas to his loving parents Oliver and Liria Ramirez.
Orlando lived a life full of adventure and dedication. He excelled as a journeyman plumber and carpenter throughout his career. He took great pride in his work, always ensuring that every task was completed with precision and skill. Orlando's expertise left an indelible mark on the community he served.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Orlando will be remembered for his vibrant personality. He was known for being straight forward and transparent in his dealings with others. His loyalty knew no bounds as he stood by the side of those he loved through thick and thin. Orlando had a mischievous sense of humor that could brighten any room and bring smiles to the faces of those around him.
One of Orlando's greatest joys in life was spending quality time with his family. He cherished every moment shared with them and created countless beautiful memories. One of the things Orlando loved most was coming up with fun nicknames for his nieces and nephews that brought laughter to all. He also had a passion for travel and explored fascinating destinations such as Mount Rushmore and Washington DC.
As a teen, Orlando was an accomplished Golden Gloves Champion. His dedication to boxing showcased not only his physical strength but also the determination and unwavering spirit that defined him.
Outside of work and sports, Orlando had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy. He loved the thrill of the casino and enjoyed testing his luck at the slots. Flipping houses was another passion he pursued with enthusiasm. The challenge of renovating properties inspired him creatively while also providing homes for others to enjoy. Orlando found relaxation in playing bingo and found solace in the tranquility of nature through fishing and camping trips.
Orlando's proudest accomplishment, however, was his family. He adored his wife Rose Ramirez and shared a deep and unbreakable bond with her. Together, they raised a wonderful daughter. He took solace in his unbreakable bond with his sons Sebastian and Ayden. Orlando's love and support for his children were limitless, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. He took immense pride in providing them with a loving home and showing them the value of hard work and determination.
Orlando will be deeply missed by his wife Rose; children; his parents, Oliver and Liria Ramirez; his siblings, Bobby Ramirez, Joshua Estrada, Raul Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, Valirie, and Ace; as well as his fur babies, Chucho and Daisy. Orlando is preceded in death by extended family including his mother-in-law Lupe Teniente, father-in-law Robert Teniente, aunt Esther Ramirez, grandmother Loretta Estrada, as well as many other relatives who held a special place in his heart.
On Sunday, January 28, 2024, a visitation will be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street). A funeral service will be at 10:00AM on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the funeral home with burial following at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
Orlando Timothy Ramirez brought love, joy, and laughter to all who knew him. His strength as a father, son, brother, and friend left an everlasting impact on the lives he touched. As we say goodbye to this remarkable soul taken too soon from us, let us remember him through stories shared with laughter in our hearts. Orlando's spirit will continue to shine bright through the memories we hold dear.
