Oran Paul Yates

Oran Paul Yates, 81, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 27, 2021. He was born in Yancopin, Arkansas January 26, 1940 to the late William E. Yates and Lydia Mae (Roe) Yates.

Last of his family of ten, Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, LaVerne Yates; daughter, Kimberly Yates; son, Kenneth Yates, all of North Little Rock; six grandchildren, Brooke Dean, Brittany Langston, Faith Langston, Shelby Yates, Karson Yates, and Ethan Yates.

Paul spent his life loving his career in transportation and his time with his family and morning coffee with his friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). Burial with military honors will follow at 12:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
