Ora "Alene" Ashley, age 88 of Little Rock, passed away May 9, 2015 in Little Rock. She was born on May 5, 1927 in Little Rock, AR.; she was the daughter of Odis Tyra and Osie McCumpsey Tyra.
Alene was retired from Leggett and Platt Co. She was member of Ironton Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Ashley, her son James Ashley and brother Arnold Tyra.
Survivors include sister Ruth Lanier, Stella Pearson and husband J.W., brother Cecil Johnson; daughter Marilyn Tackett and husband Charles; son Danny Ashley; daughter Pam Ashley Aloway; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
